Authorities say two people are dead after a shooting at the L'Oreal USA Maybelline plant in North Little Rock early Tuesday morning. North Little Rock police say the incident occurred around 3:00 a.m. in the 11500 block of Maybelline Road.

An Alma student was caught with a rifle in the trunk of his vehicle Tuesday (Feb. 5), according to Alma High School officials. Officials said a .22 caliber rifle was found locked in the trunk of the student's vehicle. No threats were made and no students were in danger at any time.

The Pine Bluff Police Department is investigating an early morning shooting that left one man dead. Officers responded to a shooting at a home on South Richard Street at about 3:30 a.m. and found the victim, who was later identified as 22-year-old Deunta Blakemore of Pine Bluff in the passenger seat of a car.
