Fort Smith Police said they have 1 person in custody after a stabbing overnight. Police were called to a home on N. 53rd street around 12:43 Thursday morning in reference to a person with a stab wound. The caller told police their friend had come over to use their phone to call his mother who lives in Van Buren.
