Police have identified a man found dead in a North Little Rock ditch Tuesday afternoon. In a statement, the North Little Rock Police Department said the homicide victim is 24-year-old Damarian R. Williams.

The Little Rock Police Department says one person was shot by an off-duty officer when the person tried to gain access to the officer's apartment. Lt. Michael Ford says the shooting happened at a residence at Bowman Heights Apartments off of Markham Mesa Place.

One person is dead and a student injured, following a crash. motorcycle collided with an Alma School District bus on Highway 282 just east of Rudy, according to Public Information Officer Liz Chapman with ASP.
A 21-year-old man died after losing control of his pickup on a wet Arkansas road, police said. It happened as Luis A. Gallardo of Mexico was driving a 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche north on Walker Road in Siloam Springs, according to an Arkansas State Police report.
High water on roads led to a crash that killed a Pocahontas man. According to a crash report by Arkansas State Police, Jeffery C. Richardson, 57, was driving his Ford pickup truck west on State Highway 226 in Jackson County Sunday night.
Investigators are still trying to determine what caused an apartment fire that displaced more than a dozen families. A fire broke out in Fort Smith. Crews said 16 apartments were destroyed and, of those, 12 were occupied. No one was injured in the fire and the Red Cross is now helping the displaced families with their immediate needs.

An apartment fire at the 8500 block of S. 28th Street and Grinnell Avenue leaves several families displaced. The fire happened Saturday (Feb. 24), around 6 p.m., at Southpoint Apartments and firefighters on scene said 16 apartments were destroyed. No one was injured.

A was found dead in Clay County Arkansas by police on Thursday, Feb 22. Clay County Sheriff Terry Miller said shortly after 8 pm on Clay County 911 received a call regarding a possible shooting that occurred on LaSalle Street in Rector, Ar. Officers discovered a deceased male inside the residence. The victim was identified as Jeffery Baker, 40, of Rector, Ar.
Several residents have reported they’re being scammed, according to the Sebastian County Sheriff’s Office. The residents told authorities that a man claiming to be Sgt. Mike Hardin with the sheriff’s office is calling and falsely informing them they have warrants out for their arrest because of failing to appear for jury duty, according to the sheriff’s office.

Authorities say the bodies of two newborn babies who appear to be twins have been found in a suitcase along a road in northeast Arkansas. The Cross County sheriff’s office says the bodies were discovered Friday afternoon in a purple suitcase, which was on a ditch bank along a county road.
