Russellville Police have confirmed a gun shot was fired at an apartment complex near Arkansas Tech
Police are asking for the public’s help to get more information on a possible shooting on Trudi Place. Springdale police were called about 11:23 p.m. to the area for reports of gunshots, according to Lt. Jeff Taylor.

Two Arkansas women died in a crash involving a tractor-trailer on a Clay County highway. The vehicle, driven by 21-year-old Kaytlyn Herndon, was traveling northbound on Highway 135 when it made a left-hand turn on Highway 62 in the path of a tractor-trailer, according to a preliminary crash report.
A plane crashed near Eureka Springs Thursday, according to the Carroll County Sheriff's Office. The pilot, Marlyn Atkinson of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, suffered non-life threatening injuries and was brought to the Eureka Springs Hospital. No one else was in the plane.
