Fayetteville Police have arrested a student after a threat of shooting Fayetteville High School was made. On Thursday, February 15, Fayetteville High School's Resource Officer was contacted by a school official about a video posted on Snapchat. Families of students at the school also reported the video. Police investigated and made contact with the student and guardians.
Police are investigating after a person was fatally shot a Little Rock apartment complex Thursday night. Department spokesman Lt. Michael Ford said the killing occurred at Eagle Nest Apartments at 33 Falcon Court, just east of Colonel Miller Road on the city's southwest side. Ford said officers were called to the complex about 7:45 p.m.

Fayetteville Police are investigating a car vs. bicycle accident that happened Wednesday around 10:00 p.m. Police confirmed that a bicyclist was hit by a car on 15th street last night but could not comment on the condition of the bicyclist.

An Alma student was caught with a rifle in the trunk of his vehicle Tuesday (Feb. 5), according to Alma High School officials. Officials said a .22 caliber rifle was found locked in the trunk of the student's vehicle. No threats were made and no students were in danger at any time.
A Fayetteville School Bus was involved in an accident Wednesday afternoon. The wreck occurred near Huntsville Rd. and Baldwin Ave., which is west of Lake Sequoyah.

Just before 11:00 p.m. on Friday, February 2, police were called to the 2500 block of Candlewood Drive in response to a suicide call. The caller told police she left the location with her three children, leaving 37-year-old, John Phillips, at the home alone.
