Two men were arrested in Trumann Wednesday morning after police found drugs, guns and over $2,000 at their home. Officials in a joint task force in Poinsett County searched Michael Cordell McKay, 31, and Jessica Erby’s, 28, home.
A man is facing charges after the Sebastian County Sheriff’s Office seized 2.8 pounds of methamphetamine Tuesday (Feb. 20), according to Captain Philip Pevehouse. Zephyran Hayes, 39, is facing charges of trafficking a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver a narcotic, possession with intent to deliver marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and maintaining a premise for narcotic sales.

Authorities say the bodies of two newborn babies who appear to be twins have been found in a suitcase along a road in northeast Arkansas. The Cross County sheriff’s office says the bodies were discovered Friday afternoon in a purple suitcase, which was on a ditch bank along a county road.

Police say an Arkansas homeowner is claiming he acted in self-defense when he fatally shot a teenager inside his home. Authorities say the body of 18-year-old Demarco Murray was discovered Thursday afternoon inside a home in Conway, Arkansas, located about 33 miles northwest of Little Rock.

Authorities say the bodies of two newborn twins have been found in a suitcase along the side of road in northeast Arkansas. WREG reported deputies found the bodies Friday afternoon in on a ditch bank along a County Road 602 in Wynne. The bodies were in a purple suitcase.
Police are searching for a suspect who gunned down a man at a local hotel, according to police. Police say a man was shot and killed at the motel Thursday night (Feb. 15) after receiving a 911 call about a disturbance in the motel parking lot.
Fayetteville Police have arrested a student after a threat of shooting Fayetteville High School was made. On Thursday, February 15, Fayetteville High School's Resource Officer was contacted by a school official about a video posted on Snapchat. Families of students at the school also reported the video. Police investigated and made contact with the student and guardians.

An Alma student was caught with a rifle in the trunk of his vehicle Tuesday (Feb. 5), according to Alma High School officials. Officials said a .22 caliber rifle was found locked in the trunk of the student's vehicle. No threats were made and no students were in danger at any time.
A Fayetteville School Bus was involved in an accident Wednesday afternoon. The wreck occurred near Huntsville Rd. and Baldwin Ave., which is west of Lake Sequoyah.
