Department spokesman officer Steve Moore said police were called about 12:44 p.m. to West 12th and Washington streets, where Kristopher Arnold had been shot in his thigh. Arnold, 20, was taken to UAMS Medical Center for treatment. His injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.

A Heber Springs teen has died after his motorcycle was hit by a car along Interstate 430 Thursday night. That's according to an Arkansas State Police (ASP) preliminary accident report that identifies the victim as Isaac Daniel Hamman, 18.
